Canadian scientists have found that an analog of Marijuana appears to create brain cells in the hippocampus of Mice and in the fetuses of pregnant mice. In addition, the creation of these brain cells reduces anxiety long after the drug is gone. This "neurogenesis" is one of the mechanisms of the common anti-depressant drug Prozac.
